I enjoy teaching through articulate, creative, down on the floor play and understand the importance of providing opportunities for children to explore and socialize that allow optimum experiences to learn and grow.
I look for clues that may reveal a child’s special interest and find ways for them to explore their interest further.
I am skilled in seeing potential learning differences or difficulties in young children such as Asperger’s Syndrome, autism, ADD and hearing impairment. I also understand the value of nutrition in helping children deal with their developmental challenges.
I believe my continued interest in learning also enhances the care I give to children. I enjoy yoga, dance, music, art, nature, gardening, ecology, psychology, ancient history, mythologies, holistic health, massage therapy and science to name a few.
